On 10 January 2026, Wija Oortwijn was appointed deputy editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care (IJTAHC). IJTAHC serves as a forum for a wide range of stakeholders, including policymakers, academics, patients, manufacturers and healthcare professionals interested in the intended and unintended consequences of health technology.
Articles on any aspect related to health technology assessment (HTA) are welcome. The journal covers the development, evaluation, dissemination and use of health technology, as well as its impact on the organisation, policy and management of health care systems and public health. IJTAHC is published by Cambridge University Press and is the official journal of Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi), the professional association for HTA.
