Prevention and lifestyle in healthcare, many parties are working on this. After all, there is so much scientific knowledge about effective interventions to start thinking about large-scale implementation in healthcare. In this artikel Prof. Marijn de Bruin (IQ Health) and colleagues present a behavioral science framework for prevention in healthcare. Interviews with relevant stakeholders, scientific literature and study of care models abroad led to a thorough analysis of the opportunities, a concrete elaboration of what care could look like if behavioral science expertise and evidence were fundamentally integrated into care, and a delta plan to get there. Coordinated, large-scale collaboration focused on implementation - for which IQ Health has long been a center of excellence - is what is needed to test this model integrally and eventually scale it up.
