• Use of 'evidence-informed deliberative processes' for global HTA

  We are implementing projects in Ghana, Iran, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Liberia, Moldova, Pakistan, Rwanda and UAE to shape HTA frameworks, establish care packages, and/or strengthen capacity.

• Exploratory, participatory and adaptive technology-specific modeling to support optimal use of innovative medical technology: MRI guided radiotherapy

  A lot of medical technologies can be used in different ways, with different purposes and value. In this project, we explore methodology to inform decision-making on the use of medical technology.

• VALIDATE

  Values in conducting health technology assessments. An EU Erasmus+ project that developed an e-learning course and framework, including a manual, that helps HTA practitioners integrate ethical analysis and stakeholder engagement into assessment.

• The WHO UHC Compendium for reviewing basic care package in low- and middle-income countries

  The UHCC is an innovative database covering a wide range of healthcare interventions. We link a costing and prioritization module to it, supporting low- and middle-income countries in revising their care package.

• Summer course ‘The use of HTA to support universal health coverage’

  This course provides practical and step-by-step guidance on using evidence-informed deliberative processes in HTA to design a country's health care packages. Students will learn how this approach promotes legitimate decision-making on the road to "universal health coverage.

  This free online course consists of four weeks, in which you will learn about the policy context of HTA, methods for reconstructing stakeholder interpretive frameworks, and critical analysis of background theories and normative explanations.
